Project context

Launching a token sale involves more than a smart contract. The offering also needs a way to collect investor information, process supporting documents, and manage the crowdsale. Coral Fundraiser brings these steps together in one solution.

Our contribution

• Ethereum smart contracts developed around the business rules of each ICO.
• A customizable user interface for presenting and interacting with the token offering.
• An investor registration workflow that collects legal information for Know Your Customer (KYC), including processing digitized supporting documents.
• Tools to manage and monitor the crowdsale process.

Our contribution

Digital Beings developed the application with React Native for iOS and Android. The mobile experience covered both taking out insurance and managing an existing policy.

What the app included

• Insurance quotes: request a quote from the mobile app.
• Policy creation: take out a new insurance policy.
• Useful contacts: access contact information related to insurance services.
• Claims management: manage insurance claims through the app.
• Policy expiration alerts: receive reminders about policy expiration dates.

Technology approach

React Native was the framework used to develop the mobile application for both Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android platforms.

How the experience worked

Visitors selected options on a touchscreen and received product recommendations based on their choices. The interaction took place at the display itself, in retail and event environments.

What we developed

• The software for the touchscreen interaction on Arduino-based kiosks.
• Recommendation experiences for wine, cheese, and tools.
• Additional versions without a specific product category.

The challenge

As the registration process became more complex, more applicants abandoned it. The design needed to balance a straightforward user journey with the background checks required for loan assessment.

Our contribution

We designed a clean interface that guides applicants through the necessary information, keeping the data requested focused on what was needed for the assessment.

Two application paths

• A fully online loan process, completed without an in-person interaction and signed digitally.
• A second route for a larger loan amount, with an in-person signature.

Where the work fit

In the lending platform, the applicant’s information is verified and a loan amount is determined. Once the user confirms the loan, the wallet and smart-contract platform comes into the process to receive it.

Our contribution

• Development of a platform that generates a wallet associated with a smart contract on the RSK blockchain.
• An Angular website for accessing information recorded in the blockchain.

Connecting the layers

The project combines a lending workflow, blockchain records, and a web interface for consulting those records. Our described work focuses on the wallet, smart-contract platform, and Angular website.

The starting point

The platform had passed through several teams and had a complex, heterogeneous codebase. Its architecture was inconsistent, and the backlog needed to be addressed to keep the tool usable and allow it to evolve.

Our contribution

Our team led the ERP’s development and evolution. BAF also incorporated a senior Digital Beings engineer into its own team to support delivery.
